These are the terms that apply when you use this website. They're separate from the consent you give in person before any treatment, which your clinician will go through with you directly at the clinic.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By browsing this website or using its contact and booking forms, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site — you're always welcome to call or visit the clinic directly instead.
2. What this website is for
This site is here to inform you about Clinique Medix, operating as Clinique Medix, and to make it easy to reach us — by browsing our treatments, reading our blog, or sending a message or booking request through our forms.
It is not a medical service in itself. Submitting a form does not create a doctor-patient relationship, and nothing on this site — including treatment descriptions, blog articles or pricing — is medical advice or a substitute for an in-person medical evaluation.
3. Medical evaluation and results
The following reflects how the clinic actually practises, and applies to everything on this site:
- A medical evaluation at the clinic is required before any treatment; nothing is prescribed or booked on the strength of information submitted through this website alone.
- Results vary from person to person, and nothing on this site is a guarantee of a particular outcome.
- Prices shown on this site are before taxes and may change without notice.
4. Booking requests
Requesting an appointment through this website is a request, not a confirmed booking. We'll follow up by phone or email to confirm a time, subject to our normal business hours and availability. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact the clinic directly — this website does not process cancellations.
5. Accounts and eligibility
This website does not require an account. You must be old enough to consent to treatment under Quebec law, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, before booking a consultation.
6. Intellectual property
The text, photographs, logos and design of this website belong to Clinique Medix or to the licensors who provided them, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share pages of this site for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse our content, photographs or branding for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
7. Acceptable use
When using this site, please don't:
- use it for any unlawful purpose
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or the systems behind it
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site without our permission
- interfere with the site's security, availability or normal operation
8. Links to other websites
This site may link to third-party websites, including social media pages, for your convenience. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of sites we don't operate.
9. No warranty
We try to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that it is complete, error-free or uninterrupted, and the site is provided “as is.”

To the extent permitted by law, Clinique Medix is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, or from your reliance on information found on it in place of an in-person medical evaluation.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
12. Language
These Terms are available in both French and English, and both versions are equally accessible on this site. In the event of any discrepancy between them, the French version prevails, in accordance with Quebec's Charter of the French Language.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
